JVCKENWOOD Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd (“JKTS”) was officially declared a new company on 1st April 2015 upon the amalgamation of Communications Business and Car Business in Singapore.
JKTS has the capabilities to design and develop both Car Electronics and Communications products.
Car Electronics Business (CE)
We have a team of qualified Mechanical Designers, Electrical Designers, Software Designers, Product Engineers and QA Engineers. Our in-house Software Coding Team gives us an edge in the fast-changing world of technologies. We have the capabilities and capacities to expand our businesses in Asian Dealer Option Development in the near future.
Communications Business (COM)
By harnessing the diversified and creative advantages of its multi-cultural design team, Communications Business Centre has been developing portable radios, mobile radios, radio-related products and solutions for the past 20 years. Our solution portfolio includes analogue and digital (NXDN) products as well as conventional and trunking products designed and developed for the worldwide commerce-critical market.
Our R&D team is committed to research and development of radio communications technologies, and we aim to become the leading design centre for radio communications solution within JVCKENWOOD Group.
History of JVCKENWOOD Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd.
- 02 May 1978 - JVC Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“JES”) is incorporated in Singapore.
- 02 April 1979 - Trio-Kenwood Singapore (Pte) Ltd is incorporated in Singapore.
- 01 April 1991 - JES’ R&D Centre is established.
- 01 April 1996 - Trio-Kenwood Singapore (Pte) Ltd is renamed Kenwood Electronics Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. (“KETS”)
- 01 April 1996 - KETS’ R&D Centre is established.
- 13 March 2013 - Kenwood Electronics Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. is renamed JVCKENWOOD Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“JKTS”)
- 01 April 2013 - JVC Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. is renamed JVCKENWOOD Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“JKES”)
- 01 April 2015 - JKES and JKTS amalgamate to form JVCKENWOOD Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd.
